Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Associate Project Manager with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing technical projects while ensuring seamless collaboration between teams and stakeholders. Prior experience in the payment gateway and payment domain is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution:

• Assist in planning, managing, and executing technical projects from initiation to completion.

• Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring projects stay on schedule.

• Identify risks and dependencies, proactively mitigating issues to ensure smooth project execution.

• Work closely with technical teams, developers, and engineers to align project goals with technical feasibility.

• Manage project documentation, status reports, and communication with all stakeholders.

Technical Coordination & Support:

• Understand technical requirements, particularly in payment gateways, transaction processing, and fintech solutions.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve technical challenges.

• Participate in technical discussions and provide inputs for project planning and execution.

• Ensure proper implementation of Agile/Scrum methodologies in project execution.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business terms.

• Facilitate regular stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Communicate project updates to internal teams, clients, and senior management.

• Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

Process Improvement & Quality Assurance:

• Continuously analyze project processes and suggest improvements to optimize efficiency.

• Ensure adherence to best practices, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

• Implement project tracking and reporting tools to enhance transparency and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 3-6 years of experience in project management within a technical environment, preferably in the payment domain or fintech industry.

• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), payment gateway integrations, transaction processing, and security compliance.

• Project Management Tools: Experience with Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar tools.

• Methodologies: Understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban frameworks.

• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical challenges and proactively resolve project bottlenecks.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications: PMP, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or ITIL certification is a plus.

• Industry Experience: Experience in payment processing, fintech, or banking technology projects.
